I was asked about this so many times. So here are the details.
Very often – I’m not joking – during my calls with my colleagues and clients – I was asked:
– “What is your setup?”
– “WOW, how great is your webcam.”
– “How many screens do you have?”
etc.
So I’m writing an article about my whole setup.
I’ve been using this setup for several years and am happy about it.
Desk:
Viva Upgrade – Dual Motor (2-3 years of experience):
It’s awesome. I have different pre-programmed setups for different heights for different situations:
-
- A setup for perfect webcam calls;
- A setup for general work;
- A setup when I’m standing;
Chair:
Ergohuman v2 Plus Elite (2-3 years of experience):
If you plan to work more than 8 hours/day. It’s a must! Simply no more pain.
Laptop:
Lenovo Legion 5 Pro 16IAH7H, Intel® Core™ i9-12900H till 5.00 GHz, 16”, WQXGA, IPS, 165Hz, 32GB, 2 x 1TB SSD RAID 0, NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3070 Ti 8GB (0,5 years of experience):
My previous laptop was also great – but I wanted again to buy the best of the best possibility. Currently, there are no better options in the market. This is my tool, so I use it daily for different things. So yes – I wanted something robust and powerful. And yes, this is a beast also if you want to play some games.
Monitors:
LED IPS Dell Alienware 24.5”, FHD, 360Hz, 1ms, G-SYNC, FreeSync (0,5 years of experience):
My previous monitors were also great, but I wanted the best of the best. I have enough working area with two of these + the laptop screen.
With 360Hz and all the extra features and settings, I don’t regret it.
Keyboard:
Microsoft Comfort 5050 (5+ years of experience):
This is nothing fancy – this will probably be my next upgrade – but it’s working well, and I have had no problems with it so far.
Mouse:
Logitech G305 LightSpeed Hero (5+ years of experience):
This is my second one, cause my first mouse, after three years, died. But I instantly bought a new one. I wanted a plastic mouse. Before that, I tried and used several others with a rubber cover – but if you use it 10-12 hours/day – it will be dirty. So that’s why I wanted a plastic one. So it’s plastic but great.
Elgato things:
I have everything from them – I love this brand (2+ years of experience):
- Stream deck – for quick shortcuts etc.
- Key Light Air – for excellent webcam calls.
- Wave 3 – incredible microphone
- Wave Mic Arm LP – I wanted a low-profile mic arm to see my screen still when I’m on a call.
- Facecam – 1080p60 Webcam – what else should I say?
I have several USB Hubs under my desk to connect all the accessories. Besides this, I also mounted some cable management systems and an extension cord.
Well, that’s enough for this blog post – I still have a few more electronics that I have not presented in this article – so till next time.
