I’ve been working entirely remotely since 2018 – before that, I worked for three years in an office.

So, yes – I have quite a few years of experience working remotely – not just during the pandemic.

I continuously want to improve – so I was curious about the book, “How to Work Remotely: Work Effectively, No Matter Where You Are” by Gemma Dale. I was hoping to learn some new technics about working remotely. Well – this is a great book – but as I said, I have great experience working remotely and leading teams, so I only got a few new technics. But it reassured me that what I was doing was good.

So, do I recommend this book? Oh, yeah! If you are new to working remotely or feel that something needs to be changed with what you are doing, this book can help you.

There are many technics and tips, and tricks in this book. If you work in the hybrid mode, you still get many suggestions for managing your work.

You can learn how to set up your working environment, time management, improve focus, remote communication, brand, lead a remote team, career development, and many more topics.

In conclusion, I don’t regret spending a few hours with this book – it was a great reassurance about my experience and practices.
